David Morris paints in watercolour and mixed media. He lives in Lincolnshire but his work reflects his love of travel. Recent series of paintings have included work from the USA, Italy, France, the Yorkshire dales and moors and the North Norfolk Coast. Light and colour on architecture and people at leisure are both recurrent themes in his paintings of landscape, seascape and street scenes.

Avril Morris studied sculpture and ceramics at Leeds College of Art in the late 1950’s. After gaining the Art Teacher’s Certificate from Leeds University, she taught in various schools in Hull and Grimsby and exhibited ceramic sculpture in many galleries from 1970 onwards. She began painting in 1987 when she and her husband closed their pottery workshop and moved to Louth. She now works in acrylic, watercolour and pastel from still life and figurative subjects.
